Personal ministries
“The Lord desires that His word of grace shall be brought home to every soul. To a great degree this must be accomplished by personal labor. This was Christ’s method.”
Christian Service, p. 117
Personal ministries
Personal Ministries aims to involve every member in being a loving witness for Jesus. Just as Christ’s method of making disciples was based on personal labor, the primary work of the church today is still the individual disciple-making efforts of dedicated church members.

Just as a farmer prepares the soil, plants the seed, nurtures its growth, and eventually gathers the harvest, discipleship follows a similar spiritual journey.
The ministry of reaching others can be understood through five essential phases: prepare, plant, cultivate, harvest, and preserve.

Prepare – Build meaningful relationships, demonstrate Christ’s love, and prepare hearts to receive God’s message.
Plant – Share the Word of God, personal testimonies, and biblical truth in a clear, loving, and practical way.
Cultivate – Nurture spiritual interest through prayer, Bible study, fellowship, encouragement, and continued spiritual guidance.
Harvest – Help individuals respond to Christ’s invitation, make a decision to follow Him, and begin living according to God’s will.
Preserve – Continue caring for and encouraging new believers so they may grow in faith, become active in ministry, and eventually help others discover Jesus.
