Personal ministries

“The Lord desires that His word of grace shall be brought home to every soul. To a great degree this must be accomplished by personal labor. This was Christ’s method.”

Christian Service, p. 117

Personal Ministries is the calling of every believer to share the love of Jesus Christ and help others grow in their relationship with Him.

Just as a farmer prepares the soil, plants the seed, nurtures its growth, and eventually gathers the harvest, discipleship follows a similar spiritual journey.

The ministry of reaching others can be understood through five essential phases: prepare, plant, cultivate, harvest, and preserve.

Prepare – Build meaningful relationships, demonstrate Christ’s love, and prepare hearts to receive God’s message.

Plant – Share the Word of God, personal testimonies, and biblical truth in a clear, loving, and practical way.

Cultivate – Nurture spiritual interest through prayer, Bible study, fellowship, encouragement, and continued spiritual guidance.

Harvest – Help individuals respond to Christ’s invitation, make a decision to follow Him, and begin living according to God’s will.

Preserve – Continue caring for and encouraging new believers so they may grow in faith, become active in ministry, and eventually help others discover Jesus.

Every believer has a part to play in this mission. Through prayer, love, patience, and faithful service, we can become instruments in God’s hands to lead people to Jesus and help them grow into committed disciples.
